Part of the OSE in Africa group — the intelligence infrastructure for entrepreneurial ecosystems
ADALIA Institute
What makes ADALIA unique

You learn on a real observatory.

ADALIA's method is not an in-house programme. It is the scientific framework of OSE in Africa — published, peer-reviewed, validated by an international scientific council — applied to real ecosystems and real data.

An unaccredited academy must answer, from the first second: "on what authority do you rest?" ADALIA's answer is clear — the science, and a living observatory.

The five-layer framework

An entrepreneurial ecosystem reads across five layers. L1 Technical: resources and infrastructure. L2 Cognitive: knowledge and training. L3 Relational: networks and social capital. L4 Symbolic: institutions and legitimacy. L5 Psychological: mindset and sense of agency.

This framework, peer-reviewed and validated by the OSE scientific council, is the shared pedagogical foundation of every programme — from the introductory module to the doctoral track.

The Observatory as a hands-on classroom

No dated case studies. Learners map, diagnose and compare real ecosystems directly on OSE Expert: the living atlas, the country diagnostics, the network analyses.

It is proof by practice: the "Ecosystem mapping & diagnosis" module literally runs on expert.ose.africa.

The Observe → Train → Act loop

OSE observes and qualifies ecosystems, illuminates them with Expert, connects their actors with Connect. ADALIA closes the loop: it trains the people who build them, for better decisions on the ground.

Each turn of the wheel sharpens the next. No competitor holds all five pieces of this chain.

A scientific council that validates the framework

The five-layer framework is validated by the international OSE scientific council — reference researchers in entrepreneurship and ecosystems (Audretsch, Sarasvathy, Stam and others).

For a funder or agency executive, these names carry more weight than a national accreditation. Explore the Observatory: ose.africa and expert.ose.africa.
